ACCOMPLISH Scholarship

The ACCOMPLISH program aims to provide a multi-faceted financial and social support and contextualized computing-centered educational framework for eligible STEM students to propel them into the nation's high-quality STEM workforce.

This program will fund scholarships up to the student's unmet financial need but no more than $10,000 to eligible full-time students. To be eligible for ACCOMPLISH, applicants:

must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents, Nationals, or Refugees,
must demonstrate that they are "academically talented", one way is to have a high school core GPA above 2.8 or be enrolled in a STEM discipline with cumulative GPA of at least 2.8
must have demonstrated financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office

STEM majors who don’t have any unmet financial need can still apply and be admitted into the ACCOMPLISH program. They will however not be funded.

Adaskin, Ethel & Edward Scholarship

To provide scholarship support to full time Undergraduate students (12+ day credits per semester) in good academic standing with demonstrated financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Department.

Preference will be given to entering students as well as residents of Dartmouth, Fall River, Freetown, Westport, Somerset, or Swansea, and then Bristol County.

Ali, Shaukat Memorial Humanitarian Scholarship

To support a full-time (12+ day credits per semester) student(s) enrolled in the Honors Program at the University. Preference is for a student(s) who is maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher, demonstrates academic promise, and who lives by the ideals that Dr. Ali embraced such as honesty, hard work, compassion, humility and goodwill towards people of all faiths, ethnicities and nationalities. Community service and volunteerism will also be considered.

AliCares Nursing Education Scholarship

To provide scholarship support to five (5) full-time (12+ day credits per semester) students who are juniors and majoring in Nursing. Students must demonstrate financial need, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and be involved in community work thru either volunteering and/or community health work. Preference will be given to students currently underrepresented in nursing.

Their experience, leadership skills, problem-solving experience, and commitment to civic engagement are a welcome addition to any learning environment.

Student can be a full-time (12+ credits per semester) undergraduate/Law student or (9+ credits per semester) graduate student in any major
Student must show proof of completion of AmeriCorps service, such as, letter of Segal AmeriCorps Education Award (if you receive your letter from AmeriCorps after the application due date, please contact the Scholarship Coordinator in Financial Aid Services - scholarships@umassd.edu
Student can only receive 1 award totaling $1,000.

The Alice Ayling Scholarship is designed to assist full-time (12+ day credits per semester) undergraduates, who are Massachusetts residents, and demonstrate academic promise as well as financial need. Recipients are required to attend a mandatory meeting with the donor during the academic year.

The maximum number of semesters you may receive this scholarship is 8.

Bridging the Gap Scholarship

Support retention of students in good academic standing by providing emergency assistance to matriculated Undergraduate students who demonstrate an unanticipated financial emergency. The fund is for both full-time (12+ day credits per semester) in-state and out-of-state students who are full-time and have accumulated at least 12 credits at UMass Dartmouth. Students can only receive the award once during their time at UMassD. This emergency aid will not affect other financial aid arrangements.

Application is ongoing throughout the academic year based on available funds.

Bristol County South Medical Wives Auxilliary Scholarship

This scholarship will support a full-time (12+ day credits per semester) matriculated undergraduate College of Nursing student entering their senior year who resides in Bristol County. The student must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Department and academic merit.

The University of Massachusetts (UMass) is offering five $10,000 scholarships to provide recognition of and financial assistance to five outstanding students. To be eligible for the William M. Bulger Presidential Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:
